10 Overlooked Upcoming Games You MUST Consider

4. Felt That: Boxing

Talk about a game that just about nobody saw coming. Felt That: Boxing is a deeply unserious boxing game set in a world of furry puppets, where players take control of Ezra "Fuzz-E" Wright - an unlikely hero who needs to punch his way through a tournament in order to save an orphanage.

Think Punch-Out!! by way of Jim Henson, then.

The Summer Games Fest reveal trailer was so mind-bogglingly photorealistic that many understandably thought they were looking at actual live-action puppetry, but alas, it was seemingly all in-engine gameplay.

It certainly looks like one hell of a gleefully silly twist on the typical sports game, and will be clearly poking cheeky fun at all the tired tropes of the underdog boxing movie.

Developer Sans Strings Studio didn't offer much more information on Felt That, and without even a tentative release window it's clearly a while out from being in our hands, but it nevertheless made quite the startling first impression.
