10 Overpowered Video Game Exploits You Won't Believe Are Real

The Cryolator is a legendary rifle from Fallout 4 that creates rays capable of freezing your enemies solid. The weapon appears in the game's intro, but unfortunately, you can't get it until you're at least level 18, due to its being locked behind a Master grade safe.

Except there is an exploit that can get past the lock within the first hour of the game. Using your trusty canine companion, Dogmeat!

The friendly pup is one of the earliest companions you can get, appearing just outside Sanctuary, and he comes with his own unique mechanic of fetching.

When interacting with Dogmeat, you can tell him to fetch for items, and he will bring you the nearest object lying in the vicinity.

This sounds innocent enough, but when you bring Dogmeat close to the Cryolator's safe and use the fetch action, the dog can actually pull the weapon out of the case and deliver it right to you, no lockpicking required!

The exploit has unfortunately been patched on consoles, but it's still possible on the PC version if you position Dogmeat at just the right angle.
