10 Overpowered Video Game Weapons You Weren't Supposed To Get
1. Duplicate Flail Of Ages - Baldur's Gate 1
Baldur's Gate 1's most powerful weapon is arguably the Flail of Ages, a legendary flail with three elemental heads that you spend most of the game looking for.
The weapon is capable of dealing a ludicrous amount of damage when fully assembled, but it does come with one major downside—you can only get one Flail of Ages in your campaign.
Or rather, you would if it weren't for this one nifty exploit that allows you to duplicate it!
The exploit involves one of your companions, Rasaad, and his personal quest, in which he can permanently leave your party.
When companions go away like this, they are programmed to return all quest items in their inventory to the player, but Rasaad's script is secretly bugged, and it returns the flagged items twice!
Now here is the best part! Because the Flail of Ages is part of its own personal quest, if you put it in Rasaad's inventory and make him leave, you will get two Flails of Ages for the price of one!
Afterward, you can equip two characters with these legendary bad boys and watch as every enemy encounter turns into an instant bloodbath.
