10 Overpowered Video Game Weapons You Weren't Supposed To Get
5. Mysterious Stranger's .44 Magnum - Fallout 3
The Mysterious Stranger is a recurring character from the Fallout series who can randomly appear in combat to help you if you have purchased his related perk.
The Stranger is a surprisingly lethal ally, as he is capable of killing any opponent caught in his crossfire in one shot.
Since you can never interact with him and he doesn't appear outside of the V.A.T.'s screen, you might suspect that his power is simply programmed into his character.
However, in reality, the strength lies purely within his gun, which, by the way, you can get your hands on using console commands.
Called the Mysterious Stranger's .44 Magnum, the revolver deals a whopping 9000 base damage with a 100% chance of making it critical.
The strength is great enough to blow out the brains of any mob in the game, and all you have to do in order to obtain it is add it to your inventory by typing "player.additem 00050F92 1" into the console command screen.
It's curious that the developers decided to make the Stranger strong with an actual gun, but thanks to this decision, you can actually mimic the full scope of his power.
