An absolute titan of the industry, Rockstar are responsible for revolutionary masterpieces like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Grand Theft Auto V in addition to creating cult classic The Warriors and the controversial Manhunt 2.

There isn't another studio like Rockstar out there today, but even a developer of this calibre has a handful of games that aren't as widely talked about. In this case, that game is Midnight Club: Los Angeles.

The fourth and final entry in the street racing franchise which hasn't seen the light of day in over a decade, this title saw players take to the streets in a highly detailed version of Los Angeles, for a series of action-packed street races, each as thrilling as the last. The game was visually spectacular for the time, with a day and night cycle and weather system adding to a great sense of immersion.

Add in an impressive selection of highly customisable cars, excellent driving controls and a bombastic soundtrack, and this becomes one of the best racing games of the Xbox 360 era.

Given the massive leaps in graphical fidelity since this game's launch, now would be the perfect time for this series to make a comeback.
