10 Perfect Short Video Games To Get You Through A Gaming Lull
4. Trials Fusion
Trials is a notoriously difficult series; your every attempt to complete the game's later levels will be met with unrelenting, brutal force as your rider suffers agonising death after agonising death. Still, the game's pretty fun. Trials Fusion doesn't alter the Trials formula much; it simply expands on it. The early levels are fun, relatively unchallenging romps through a futuristic environment. If you're an overly competitive sort, your friends times will push you to replay levels over and over again to gain a split second advantage over your rivals; it makes up massively for the game's lack of online multiplayer. The most prominent addition to Trials Fusion is the introduction of FMX Events which implement a skill system into the game. Moving your bike and rider around will trigger different moves and chaining those together will increase your score multiplier, allowing you to reach the high scores. It's pretty tricky (heh) at first but there's no better feeling than stringing together a series of awesome looking moves. While Trials' later levels are a severe test of your patience, there's a lot of enjoyment to be had in the game's earlier stages. With the added competitive touches, it's sure to be a game you'll revisit constantly, even after your drought is over.
I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
