Under the EA banner, Star Wars games have been somewhat hit or miss. Battlefront II was mired in loot box controversies, but Jedi Fallen Order felt like a step in the right direction. Even so, the next Star Wars game from EA is shrouded in mystery, which is leaving some room for a lot of speculation.
So why not go completely nuts in the next entry and let us control the most powerful weapon in the galaxy; the Death Star. First seen in the very first Star Wars film in 1977, the Death Star has become an iconic part of the mythology and seems like a perfect place to have some fun in a video game.
Put us in control of this monstrous space station, allowing us to recruit Stormtroopers and essentially cross Roller Coaster Tycoon and Sim City with Star Wars. Give us control of our budget, employees and the day-to-day operation of the Empire's greatest weapon.
Your Death Star could even be attacked by Rebel insurgents, maybe even some of your employees are spies from the Alliance. Create a sense of chaotic randomness, where every day is a new and fascinating experience.
