10 Perfectly Crafted Video Games That Never Need Sequels

7. Another World

It's a good sign when a game that is nearly 24 years old can get a Steam re-release and still be as captivating as it once was, bypassing the fear that it may not hold up. Another World not only holds up, but is perhaps even better than it was all those years ago. It's a stirring adventure game, wrapped up in a distinct world of fantasy creatures and environments, showcasing some absolutely gorgeous animation. Another World is a game that stands so well on its own merits, that doing another one would simply be unnecessary. It's one of the very few games in this world that tells a complete, compacted story that doesn't even open itself up for multiple entries. As it stands, Another World sits you down to tell you a compelling story that will leave you breathless. It's more likely that Another World 2 will just tell you a story that makes you want your money back.
