10 Predicted Features Of Telltale's Batman Game

3. A Ton Of Fan-Favourite Characters Will Die

Telltale games wouldn€™t be Telltale games without a significant dose of bloody murder. From the shocking end to Game of Thrones: Episode One to the brutal final choice in The Walking Dead: Season Two, it€™s generally not a good idea to boot up a Telltale production if you€™re after an enjoyable thirty minutes before bed. This has quickly become their calling card, and as a developer, Telltale excels at producing consistently jarring character moments - and now, with them being given the keys to the Bat-verse, it€™s safe to assume gamers will receive a similar experience. Hell, Telltale could go all out and kill Bruce Wayne in the first episode, making the Batman we play as not the one we were expecting. They could kill off Alfred, The Joker, Catwoman, Commissioner Gordon, or even the boy wonder himself, Robin. Absolutely no-one is safe, and this makes the prospect of an episodic Batman adventure all the more enticing. We never really see heroes fail, and this is one major chance to seriously buck that predictable trend.

Danny has been with WhatCulture for almost nine years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
