4. An Open-World, With Multiple Missions To Complete
Batmans prowling ground, Gotham City, is a sprawling metropolis full to the brim with crime, history and an unusual number of super-powered anthropomorphic villains. Its a sandbox that can afford the player a wide variety of story opportunities, from tales of city-wide destruction to a smaller, more intimate murder case. As Batman, no two days will feel the same. Despite The Joker suspiciously evading what must now be a rather lengthy prison sentence, the Dark Knight is absolute, and is able to triumph in the face of seemingly overwhelming odds. This in mind, itd be intriguing to be given the liberty to explore a day in the life of Batman. Telltale could give players the Batcave as a hub, and from the Batcomputer, they could scan Gotham city, choosing to tackle crimes or points of interest as and when they decide. This means that the story is always fresh, always exciting, and always keeps you on your toes - who knows what youll find when you arrive at the blinking red dot on your radar.
Danny has been with WhatCulture for almost nine years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
