10 Predicted Features Of Telltale's Batman Game

2. It'll Set Up Telltale's Justice League

In less than a month, a teeny-tiny movie called Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will hit theatres. It€™s the precursor to an even bigger cinematic event, and when The Justice League: Part One premieres in November 2017, many a fanboy will probably shed those salty tears. Joe and Jodie public will undoubtedly be familiar with the aforementioned warring heroes, but the other members of this superhero boyband do not enjoy as much fame as a big budget Hollywood contract would have you think. The Flash, Aquaman, Wonder Woman and Cyborg are all popular among comic-book audiences, but to everyone else, they€™re not wholly enticing. The key is to put them everywhere. We€™ve recently seen a Lego DC video game featuring everyone from Lex Luthor to Batman and Green Lantern; a product that helped some lesser known characters gain admiration from the main target audience of a superhero film; children. The Flash has his own TV show, and Aquaman€ well, he€™s Aquaman. It€™s self-explanatory. In order to make The Justice League movie a bonafide success - not just commercially, but in the hearts and minds of the audience - these characters need an increase in popularity. Telltale make extremely well-liked games, and if they featured some of the more obscure heroic heartthrobs, it would give a nice boost to the brand awareness that studio heads oh so desperately crave, especially with their hundreds of millions of dollars on the line.

Danny has been with WhatCulture for almost nine years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
