10 Promising First & Third-Person Shooters Coming In 2022

Sniper Elite is a third person tactical shooter series that lets players take control of various sniper characters in different time periods and locations. The games take a more stealthy, slow paced approach to combat where you must traverse the map to a suitable location for your timed long ranged kills.

Sniper Elite 5 is the fifth main entry in the franchise, which features several spin-off titles such as zombie army. Set in France during 1944, the game will focus on the takedown of a secret Nazi project, operation Kraken.

With real world locations utilized in the game, Sniper Elite 5 will feature an improved traversal system allowing players to engage in the open sandbox style maps easier than ever before. It promises new customization options for the weapons and ammunition, offering more variety than previous entries.

The game will also feature an invasion mechanic reminiscent of Dark Souls or Deathloop which will allow players to enter your game and try to disrupt your mission by taking you out. You can also call in another player to help you take on the missions if you are struggling with certain sections.

There is no specific release date just yet but Sniper Elite 5 is set to launch in 2022 on Xbox, PlayStation and PC.
