10 Rarest Choices In RPG Video Games
2. Betray Eufrates II To Chaos (Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader)
The fight against heresy is a major part of the Warhammer 40k universe. As such, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader offers you, as any good RPG should, the chance to betray the Imperium of Man and side with the tides of Chaos. Going down the route of heresy is already a big choice, but it ultimately leaves you with the option to surrender an entire Adeptus Mechanicus planet to the corrupted faction.
This choice comes during "The Siege," a quest that sends you to Eufrates II, a planet struggling with a heretical cult known as the Final Dawn. Throughout the quest, you'll encounter Uralon, The Cruel, a Dark Apostle with whom you can either fight against or align with.
If your heresy level is high enough and you've followed some prior steps - these include getting your hands on a sword and offering it up to the Chaos Gods - then you can choose to revive a being known as Sameth and surrender this world to the forces of Chaos. This provides you with the "Knee-Deep In Chaos" trophy, which, given it has only been achieved by 3.66% (PSNProfiles), 2% (Steam), and 1% (True Achievement) of players, is one mostly avoided. Long live The Emperor.
