10 Reasons Resident Evil 7 Is PSVR's Killer App

7. It's A Full AAA Experience With Solid Replay Value

There was some worry ahead of release that the game would be a 6-hour experience with little reason to replay through it. Thankfully, that's not the case at all.

Played outside of VR, the game can be completed comfortably on Normal difficulty in 8-10 hours, but PSVR players will likely take an hour or two longer considering how much more they'll be surveying their environments and soaking in the atmosphere.

The length is in line with what fans expect from most core entries in the series, but considering the numerous collectibles throughout the game and the ultra-challenging Madhouse difficulty that unlocks upon completing it once, there are a ton of reasons to go back for at least one more go.

Many PSVR titles seem ludicrously overpriced for what they offer, but rest assured that RE7 is a full AAA experience that doesn't cut any corners when it comes to content (and there's free DLC to come this Spring, too).
