10 Reasons Resident Evil 7 Is PSVR's Killer App
6. Playing It With Friends Is Awesome
If you're too much of a wuss to play the game in VR on your own, it's an insane amount of fun to play with friends too.
Grab a few pals, some snacks, maybe some beers, and play through the game together, perhaps swapping the headset every time you die or whenever you reach a save point, and the experience becomes much less scary but arguably even more entertaining.
Laughing at each other's pant-wetting reactions to the game makes for a fantastic shared experience, but at the same time it also makes it less intense and scary for the more meek among us, as you can still talk to your pals while playing, a reminder that you're not actually trapped in a dirty house in the Louisiana Bayou.
Considering that VR can be such an insular, isolating experience, emphasising its social potential is definitely a good thing for maximising its mainstream appeal.
