10 Reasons Why Sea Of Thieves Deserves A Second Chance
7. Arena Has Been Overhauled
If you’re just
interested in co-operative ship combat, then the Arena is the place for you.
A fast-paced contest between up to five other ships, this competitive mode will push your sailing, canon, combat, and strategic skills to the brink as you vie to acquire the most silver by digging and selling chests, landing cannonball shots on other ships, and sending other pirates to Davy Jones’ locker – all whilst keeping your own ship afloat to avoid losing a huge chunk of your own silver.
Whether you chose to play in a two-person sloop or a galleon with three other teammates, the Arena takes everything that makes Sea Of Thieves great and condenses it into short 15 minute matches where anything could happen and victory or defeat can come in seconds. However, if you want to come out on top and rise in the Sea Dog ranks, it’s imperative that you run a tight ship with each of your crew communicating and sticking to their roles. If everyone wants to use the canons, there’ll be nobody to keep the ship repaired.
And now that the mode has recently underwent a massive overhaul, it’s more exciting and intense than ever.
