Weirdly enough No Man’s Sky even manages to make the Creative mode enjoyable and engaging.

Creative mode acts as glass bottom boat tour of the game. Allowing those with dreams that outstrip their ability to still enjoy the experience. Is it as rewarding as survival mode in the longterm? No, but it’s not supposed to be.

See a cool ship. Do you want it? You can just take it. A freighter? You can just have it. Fancy building ten storey Gravitino Ball harvesting factory? You can do it without a second thought.

Rather than serve as a polar opposite to Survival mode what Creative mode does is bring all the things that are slightly out of reach a little closer. There’s no benefit to having money or resources in Creative mode which means there’s no reason to do anything, but that frees you up to do EVERYTHING.
