Yes, another Marvel game featuring Spider-Man, but he was and still is a money making machine. Despite the numerous Marvel games already featuring Spidey, The Amazing Spider-Man: Web of Fire is quite possibly the most unique of them all.

The mid 1990s were a strange time in the gaming world. It was a period where new consoles such as the PlayStation rose to prominence, and older consoles struggled to compete with them. One such attempt by SEGA to adapt to this new standard was the much maligned, and now very rare, 32x add on for the Mega Drive - a piece of hardware that Web of Fire was an exclusive for.

Usually, poor console exclusive games fail the console they're released on, but Web of Fire was failed by the console. Poor 32x sales, and lack of support from SEGA, meant Web of Fire was the last 32x game to be released for the console add-on.

As a result, it's a game few people probably even knew about - let alone played.
