6. Great Gray Wolf Sif (Dark Souls)
The bosses in Dark Souls have resulted in many controllers embedded into walls. However, Sif leaves your controller covered in tears. The loyal pet to the great Knight Artorias who fought beside him when he went into the abyss to fight Manus. As you guessed, he failed and was lost to the abyss and yet Sif stays loyal. She now watches over his grave as a protector to her master’s legacy. Which is when you run into her at the graveyard at the end of the Darkroot Garden.
You face her to get a ring to help you traverse the abyss to fight later bosses and, wielding a sword, she is ready to take you on, but the real tragedy comes later. If you finished the DLC before fighting her, she shows you respect as you put her master to rest and save her from the forces of Manus, yet readies to fight you. Unfortunately, you must fight her if you want to finish the game, whereas some of the bosses are optional.
