This is a boss fight where you slaughter a lonely dog that refuses to leave the grave of its master. That's really all that needs saying about this one.

The idea of killing dogs is something that doesn't exactly sit well with most people to begin with, but in this case, it's an honourable, sword wielding dog that belongs to one of the most popular characters in the franchise. It's therefore understandable that some players get a little bit upset at this part.

It's also probably the only fight in the franchise that you don't mind dying to.

Eventually though, the inevitable must occur, and in the immortal words of Watchmen's crazy vigilante: "Dogs get put down." And so it is with this fight.

Every hit feels like a personal ticket straight to hell, and is THE definition of "this is going to hurt me more than it's going to hurt you." And just to twist the knife in that little bit more, Sif's final phase is that he limps. He LIMPS.
