After the fantastic final heist mission in GTA V, Devin Weston attempts to convince Franklin to kill Michael, prompting the player to have three choices: a) Kill Trevor, b) Kill Michael or c) Deathwish. The third option is believed by many to be the canon ending, or in the very least the "good" ending, as Franklin hatches a plan with Lester to lure both the FIB and Merryweather into a trap. After slaughtering hordes of them in the foundry, the trio then opt to kill each other's enemies encountered throughout the game, resulting in a number of brief assassination missions. Trevor then kidnaps Devin and places him in the trunk of his car, which the three push off the edge of a cliff and watch explode. They then talk about what they've learned from their adventure, Michael retires from his life of crime, Trevor wants to keep being Trevor, and Franklin takes off in his car. After everything thrown in the face of the unlikely trio throughout the game, taking Devin Weston down was an incredibly enjoyable way to conclude Rockstar's latest masterpiece, ending with all the wit and panache of a great movie.
