4. Haw Haw Haw! Final Fantasy X
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJotVinhXJ4 Is it possible for one scene in gaming to be universally despised? It seems that whenever people discredit Final Fantasy X, their argument usually hinges heavily on one scene from the game. That scene comes early on in a city called Luca. Youve just played your first Blitzball game (and probably lost) and youre now heading out towards the Miihen Highroad to continue Yunas pilgrimage But first, you need to see some key developments between the games central love pairing. Tidus is feeling angry (or sad? Its hard to tell) because his father is a giant, amphibious, city destroying monster so Yuna explains to him how she always has to bury her feelings for the good of the people of Spira. She then teaches Tidus how to fake laugh; a decision shell probably regret for the rest of her life. Not only does this scene feature some incredibly cheesy voice acting, it also goes on for a bit too long; making it both hilarious and slightly awkward. Of course, what people seem to miss about this scene is that its supposed to be awkward; both Tidus and Yuna free themselves of inhibitions and simply enjoy each others company without embarrassment. Its great character development then, but its also a slightly out of place scene with some hilariously bad fake laughs thrown in; still, the rest of the game is great, so stop picking on this one scene.

I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
