10 Shocking Times Older Wrestling Games Did Graphics Better

9. Vince McMahon

Games: WWE 2K18 (left) and WWE SmackDown: Here Comes The Pain (right).

Time Between Release: 14 years.

This is even more embarrassing, because there was a much longer gap between WWE 2K18 and old faithful SmackDown: Here Comes The Pain. The latter was launched in 2003 to critical acclaim, but it's worrying to see that some of the character models (despite being rough around the edges due to the PS2's technical limitations) were arguably more polished than 2K's.

That's not Vince McMahon, it's former Russian President Boris Yeltsin.

2K18 doesn't capture the WWE figurehead's arrogance at all. Instead, he looks constipated. The PS2 creation, meanwhile, has that hard-nosed swagger fans have come to expect from classic Vince. Who knows what went wrong on the left?
