10 Shocking Times Older Wrestling Games Did Graphics Better

10. Edge

Games: WWE 2K16 (left) and WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 (right).

Time Between Release: Seven years.

When 2K took the WWE video game reins in time for 2K14, the gaming public reasoned that they'd bring their know how of creating excellent sports titles to the wrestling world. Excitement was palpable, and everyone looked forward to better graphics than THQ had ever been able to produce, and presumably, a completely new engine.

A mere three games into their run, 2K were already phoning it in with horrendous creations like that one of Edge (supposedly) from 2K16. Compared to the model from SmackDown vs. Raw 2009, it's hideous. Honestly, it's like someone was trying to make the 'Rated-R Superstar' look terrible.

Either that or Edge could smell something nasty.
