10 Shocking Times Older Wrestling Games Did Graphics Better

3. John Cena

Games: WWE 2K20 (left) and WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2007 (right)

Time Between Release: 13 years.

It's not that the John Cena character on the left in WWE 2K20 is awful. It's really not. It's that one created by someone else over a decade before it on inferior hardware tops it in terms of presentation, quality and finishing touches (sweat, eyes etc). Had Cena with the green t-shirt shown up in ads for SmackDown vs. Raw 2007 back in 2006, people would've lost their minds with excitement.

Unfortunately for 2K, it's 2019, and their graphical work hasn't moved on as much as WWE gaming fans would like. They're not doing well with aging stars either; Cena's skin is rumpled rather than wrinkled, and he's another victim of the dead eye club.

THQ did this one better 13 years ago. They're not the only ones who did JC better than 2K20 either...
