6. The Horse-Riding Space Program - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Skyrim's bugs run so rampant within the game that at this point most people consider them to be a feature (you got the final laugh after all, Todd).
However, although most of these bugs are harmless, providing some entertainment with confused and incompetent NPCs, there are also some that can prove quite deadly. Especially since one of them in particular can strike you when you're most vulnerable, while loading the game.
If you ever rode a horse in Skyrim, you know that they are capable of climbing mountains and vertical surfaces. However, did you know that they are also capable of launching a personal space program? With you as their main astronaut?
It turns out that if you save your game while on horseback, the game has a chance to glitch out and cause your save to load incorrectly.
More specifically, the game will launch you and your horse across the map, causing you to get flung high into the air and straight into your impending death.
For this reason it's recommended to avoid saving while riding your horse, as you never know when your afternoon commute might end up with you getting drafted for a space mission.
