10 Single-Player Star Wars Games EA MUST Make After Jedi: Fallen Order
5. Moisture Farmville
Okay, so the title needs work, but what if we had a Star Wars game completely detached from grand galactic conflict?
What if we had a game with no Jedi or Sith, no Storm Troopers or X-Wings, nor any actual combat to speak of?
Such a genre already exists: the farming simulator.
In what would essentially amount to Animal Crossing in space, your Jawa/Gungan/Ewok character would take a plot of land, plant and cultivate crops, scavenge for valuable parts to sell, and ultimately earn credits to level up their land and equipment.
Interacting and trading with a wide array of characters in the game would allow you to craft or purchase rarer, more valuable trinkets with which to improve both your farm and your character.
As to the setting, the harsh deserts of Tatooine, the Tibanna Gas mines of Bespin, the lush green plains of Naboo or even the shipyards of Fondor could serve as the backdrop to this galactic resource management game.
As we have all learned from Animal Crossing, Farming Simulator, and the various Tycoon titles out there, the potential time-sink for these sorts of games - especially with the Star Wars licence attached - is truly staggering.
