The aptly named Annihilation is a multiversal world-ending threat that takes a long time to defeat thanks to its large health pool and devastating attacks. Here's what your reaction will be after you've "finished it off" for the first time.
"Yes, I finally did it! I finished the game. Wait a minute, what's it doing? Oh no, don't tell me there's more."
Yes, just after your victory, Annihilation hits you with an even crazier second phase that transports you to a fresh battlefield with new, exhausting attack patterns to learn. You also switch back into the first phase every so often, so don't forget those attack patterns either - as if this wasn't hard enough already.
