Lies of P is a gnarly title full of great fights and a luscious steampunk aesthetic. Few bosses embody that better than Simon Manus' ferocious bodyguard, Laxasia The Complete. That's why it's no surprise she has such an electrifying second phase - pun intended. 

This fearsome warrior rocks onto the scene wearing a spiked, hulking suit of armour. She also comes complete with a giant sword and many electricity-based attacks. However, that's just the beginning, as finishing her tense first phase leads to a cutscene that spells further struggle.

Laxasia lets you know that things are about to get real by removing her armour and making it very clear her lumbering outfit was for your benefit rather than hers. Without it, she moves twice as fast, hits just as hard, and fills your screen with so much electricity that your energy bills will skyrocket. 

Is it soul-wrenching? Yes. Is it also incredibly cool and badass? Also yes.
