10 Strangest WWE Video Game DLC Packs

4. WrestleMania Pack - WWE 12

The phrase 'WrestleMania DLC pack' may bring up memories of the wrestling spectacle's grandest matches, grandest foes, and grandest memories.

It doesn't usually bring up connotations - positive ones, anyway - of Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler, and Jim Ross.

Indeed, WWE 12 asked players to part with actual money to play as the commentary trio, complete in their drab ring gear that can be best described as a walking Wotsit, Glenn Quagmire with a t*t sticking out, and your disorientated rootin'-and-tootin' grandfather picking a fight at a football game. It was a shambolic wreckage of a DLC pack that isn't actually made strange because of this trio or because they were part of a WrestleMania pack, but because of who else they were with: Shawn Michaels.

Alongside additional attires for Edge, Christian, and The Road Warriors, Michaels was the only non-commentator playable character in this DLC, whose retirement in March 2010 and subsequent Hall of Fame induction over WrestleMania XXVII weekend - the 'Mania this DLC was based on - justified his removal from the base roster, given that WWE didn't yet dabble with an extensive legends roster for their games.

WWE and THQ were dropping the ball when it came to the title's extra content and yet, this wasn't the worst of it.
