10 Strangest WWE Video Game DLC Packs
3. Legends Pack - WWE 12
There have been some dubious errors from both THQ and 2K throughout WWE's video game DLC history - but calling Brodus Clay a legend is a step too far.
Clay is a buffoon of the highest magnitude. Inept in-ring and drastically lacking any ounce of charisma, Brodus was one of WWE's mid-card goobers left out of WWE 12's base roster. Rather than wait until WWE 13 - by which point Clay had debuted 'The Funkasaurus' persona which was...yeah - THQ slotted him as a free addition to the Legends pack and called it a day. He stood out like a Rosebud in The Ministry of Darkness.
The actual legends in the DLC pack made for a solid line-up - containing Randy Savage, Batista, and Mick Foley - and THQ bolstered a legends roster that already had a horde of WWE and WCW icons. Legends, at this point, weren't a staple of WWE video games in the same way they are now, so to see the likes of Savage, Batista, and Foley included alongside the base legends was an indication that WWE was striving for an advanced roster, outside of the regular dross that encompasses the current-day crop of talent.
But Brodus Clay, man. What a wasted spot.
