We probably shouldn't expect an imaginative name from a developer called "Camelot Software Planning" (it sounds like an accountancy firm for Christ's sake), nor should we expect a particularly inventive game either, and unsurprisingly, Beyond the Beyond is a little-known PS1-era RPG that was widely panned by reviewers upon release. The horrendous title is enough to cause both journalists and players aneurysms, a seeming contradiction in terms, declaring that players will be going past a point...that's in front of them? Is that right? As you'll be seeing throughout this list, JRPGs are notorious for these ridiculous sorts of names, and it's simply shocking that the localisation department doesn't get to come up with something better. Hell, let the tea boy take a crack at it.
