10 Talented Voice Actors You'll Find In All Your Favourite Video Games

3. Steve Blum - God Of War, Call Of Duty, Transformers, Star Wars

Officially the most prolific video game voice artist of all time, Steve Blum has appeared in 261 video games to date, and clearly has no intention of stopping there looking at his recent works. Perhaps best known for his work on Cartoon Network and anime dubs, Blum doesn’t often take the lead for vocal performances but you’ll spot him trust me.

His most recent performance was in ‘Mighty Number 9”, a kickstarter project in which Blum played Countershade (Mighty Number 8) which sadly I had no idea even existed when I started researching Blum’s work. Last year, Blum worked on Black Ops 3 as Tank Dempsey, Lex Luthor in Infinite Crisis, Sub Zero in Mortal Kombat X and Cid in Final Fantasy Type-0 HD – great roles but not central, main focus roles.

To some extent, Blum clearly believes in quantity over quality when picking his roles but he has appeared in many well known franchises. He is a go to for Digimon, Marvel, God of War, Transformers, Star Wars and the Call of Duty series but often as peripheral characters – he’s harder to pick out at times but chances are you’ve definitely heard him already.
