10 Talented Voice Actors You'll Find In All Your Favourite Video Games

4. Troy Baker - Far Cry 4, Final Fantasy XIII, Silent Hill 2, DOA, Uncharted 4

Starting out as the voices of Severin and Kagan in Bloodrayne 2, Troy Baker is probably one of the best known voices in gaming. He is regularly approached to take on interesting lead characters but he doesn’t seem too picky about his roles let’s put it that way.

Baker has taken massive roles on such as Snow in Final Fantasy XII, Robin/Nightwing in several Batman series entries, James Sunderland in Silent Hill 2, Ryu Hayabusa in the DOA series, Booker in Bioshock Infinite and even the Joke in Batman Arkham Origins but he has also picked a few stinkers in his time…

Shadow the Hedgehog in the self titled outing, for example, had brilliant voice artistry but was a lacklustre game overall. Equally, Pagan Min in Far Cry 4 was a superb performance for a title that didn’t really live up to its predecessor.

Probably the best performance in Baker’s back catalogue came earlier this year as Nathan Drake’s older brother, Sam, in Uncharted 4. There’s very little difference to Baker’s real voice when playing Sam – keep your ears out in the future; you’ll spot him a mile away.
