10 Things We Want To See From The AEW Video Game
7. Get Chris Jericho On Commentary
Of all the various talents modern-day renaissance man Chris Jericho has demonstrated throughout his career as a wrestler, rockstar, podcaster, author, actor, and countless others, a skill that he has only recently let see the light of day is his ability as a commentator.
A natural at narration, Jericho has added some much-appreciated Bobby Heenan-esque flavour to the AEW booth as a colour commentator, and has even hinted that he would consider taking up the position full-time after retiring from in-ring competition.
Giving players the option to listen to Le Champion opine about the action in the ring would not only add character to the game, but also, combined with the legendary Jim Ross, provides a degree of familiarity to lapsed WWE fans who have yet to give the competition a try. For an added bonus, the game could even take inspiration from the Madden series and regularly update the commentary to ensure all of the barbs delivered by the leader of the Inner Circle to those in the ring are of maximum relevancy.
