8. Solid Online Modes

If the AEW game is going to establish a foothold in the market against the monopoly of WWE titles, a simple but effective improvement on their competition would be to have decent online gameplay.

After all, something as simple as just having playable online modes wouldn't necessitate its own entry if it wasn't for the terrible servers in recent WWE games that makes attempting to have a match without encountering massive amounts of lag almost impossible.

With practically every other sport having a dedicated scene, the AEW game could fulfil a serious niche in the market by providing players with a way to test their skills online. After all, imagine vying for supremacy in a battle royal against a group of friends. One only needs to look at how popular the online scene is for EA's UFC games to see just how much fans enjoy going up against other players in a competitive environment. Though it's probably worth pointing out that that is provided it doesn't become an experience infested with pay to win elements like EA's Ultimate Team.
