10 Things We Want To See From The AEW Video Game
5. Expansive Roster
Though AEW has done a great job in assembling a roster comprised of a mixture of former WWE talents and their own budding stars, the upcoming video game could really benefit from getting licenses to include wrestlers from a variety of different promotions.
Being able to take control of a dream card pitting wrestlers from different promotions against each other is every fan's dream, and the AEW game could really benefit from using this to its advantage. In any wrestling game, diversity is crucial, so providing players with an expansive roster to use in a variety of different locations would only benefit the upcoming title.
Of course, securing licenses across various different companies would be no easy feat, but if successful would pay dividends. Though a dream combo of AEW and NJPW seems unlikely at present given their often-contentious history, featuring talents from Mexican Lucha Libre giant AAA and burgeoning Chinese promotion OWE is a possibility given the working relationship between AEW and the two companies.
