10 Things You Didn't Know About Fallout 4

7. There Are Pop Culture References Aplenty

One of the staples of the Fallout franchise is its repeated references to real-life pop culture within, and Fallout 4 is no different. Allusions to movies, TV, and music, with varying degrees of subtlety, are littered around the Commonwealth and make for a nice break from the unrepentant depravity of the post-nuclear world.

For example, if the player explores the alleyway between the Memory Den and the Hotel Rexford in Goodneighbor, they will find the corpse of a drifter who bears a striking resemblance to Trevor from GTA V.

Also, if the player enters Diamond City, they can purchase noodles from Takahashi who will ask the Sole Survivor "Nani ni shimasho ka?," an on-the-nose reference to the vendor of the same name in the movie Blade Runner

These references are also present on a previous entry in this list, as many of the names that Codsworth can refer to the player as emanate from pop culture, such as Cena, the invisible WWE superstar, Fry from Futurama, and McFly from Back to the Future.
