10 Times Video Game DLC Was Better Than The Main Story

7. Air, Land And Sea - Just Cause 3

The Just Cause series has always been a simple catalyst for you to blow things up and fulfil your bombastic 80s action movie fantasies. Carried by its movement mechanics and the sheer lunacy of it's set pieces, the game is pure cathartic fun.

So, how do you improve that? Strap a jetpack to Rico and then give him a mech. Sounds obvious when you say it aloud. Just Cause 3's DLC doesn't do anything other than provide you with new tools to play with and thus makes the main game better because of it. You are pretty much made into Iron Man and let loose to wreak even more havoc.

Sure there is a new bit of story, but what's the point? You can fire rockets whilst jetpacking across the world? Who cares why you're doing it when you are a literal superhero. Go blow something up and stop asking questions.

I like video games, writing and writing about video games. Expect sarcasm and the dry wit of a Brit. And the occasional rant of a unhappy Scot. You know... the usual.
