10 Times Wrestling Video Games Broke The Fourth Wall

2. "Pick Hogan Or Somebody Else" (WCW Thunder)

BOOM! It's a WCW game.

Despite being one of the worst wrestling games of all the times, this is a nice change of pace for this list. It was also produced by THQ, and it famously included individual wrestler 'Rants' for everyone on the character select screen. Some of them are pure gold. Kevin Nash instructs players to "... go pick Hogan or somebody else" and warns they lack the "mental skills" and the "dexterity" to play as him.

Meanwhile, Scott Hall seems to misunderstand what picking a wrestler actually means. He tells the gamer he'll "rub their face into the mat", calls them a "little punk" and misconstrues that they want to control him, not fight him. It's a complete riot from some on the roster.

There's more fourth wall breaking goodness from Raven as well. He says players can pick him or pick somebody else, but he just wants them to "leave him alone". This was actually a pretty cool idea that would be nice to see repeated in a WWE game now.
