10 Times Wrestling Video Games Broke The Fourth Wall

1. Triple H (WWF Attitude)

After reading this list, you can tell friends that you sucked it twice. OK, maybe don't tell them that.

In WWF Attitude, which is another clunky mess of button prompts that's still somehow more playable than WCW Thunder, Triple H's entrance has quite the hidden gem. When running through his usual speech, he says, "For the thousands in attendance, the millions watching at home, and for that one bad ass guy sitting on his couch playing this video game...".

Mid-match, if he's kicking ass, Triple H will also shout lines like, "If I was you, I'd hit reset now" and, "Put down the controller, get off the couch and get to the gym, fat ass". Body-shaming, Mr. Helmsley? Tut tut and indeed tut. Seriously though, it's all great stuff and really livens up the experience.

Shane McMahon and Jerry Lawler have some banter of their own on commentary too. Shane occasionally yells little nuggets of wisdom at the player and kinda'/sorta'/definitely makes fun of video games at one point.
