7. Jak 4

The Jak and Daxter series is yet another classic collection of games held close to many a gamer's heart. PlayStation proved that the games had not been forgotten about after the relatively recent re-release of the original trilogy, playable on the Playstation3 in HD in 2012 - the original trilogy being widely regarded as the best games of the franchise. Whilst there have been a few releases after Jak 3 such as 'The Lost Frontier' and 'Combat Racing', fans are still anxiously awaiting a direct sequel under the title of Jak 4 - Jak 3 having being released back in 2004, nearly ten years ago now. It is understandable as to why many are awaiting another instalment, the series boasting memorable and somewhat loveable characters, commendable visuals and an immersive story. With Jak 3 bringing a neat but not necessarily finite conclusion, the story still has room for another game that actually links directly to the plotline of the original trilogy - something that The Lost Frontier failed to do.
