8. Far Cry 4
It hasn't been a great deal of time since Far Cry 3 was released, but gamers are already itching for more, with numerous forums expressing a strong interest in a further instalment to the series. There has been no official announcement, but it is highly likely that we will see another Far Cry game from the developers at Ubisoft very soon - it being one of their most popular franchises. It has already been suggested by Ubisoft that there is more Far Cry to come and that a 'Far Cry 4' is currently in development, with composer Cliff Martinez claiming to be busy working on the soundtrack. Naturally, fans are already in debate in regards to what they want to see in the next Far Cry and whether or not they feel it can actually be better than Far Cry 3 - which many enjoyed thoroughly for its blend of entertainment and realism. One factor that is in particularly large debate is the environment, with some expressing a desire to leave the jungle behind and explore urban areas or even a colder, icy setting. In addition to this, ideas also included more survival-based gameplay, with elements such as hunger and thirst - expanding on features like crafting and hunting in Far Cry 3 and malaria tablets in Far Cry 2. Should Ubisoft take the fans' ideas on board, there will be plenty of reasons to get excited for a Far Cry 4.
