So far reaching is its influence that numerous "club mixes" of the song have even been composed, so as far as mainstream acceptance of video game music goes, it doesn't really get any better than pilled-up people dancing to it in a dark club. With its simple lyrics, running down the game's most iconic fighters, the iconic scream of "Mortal Kombat!", and the game's various "excellent!" and "fight!" sound-bytes, this became an unexpected crossover track thanks to its insanely catchy beat and therefore the ability for would-be DJs to mutate it into all forms of un-Godly floor fillers. Still, the original "Techno Syndrome" is undoubtedly the best version.
