Tetris' theme lodges in your brain with the force of a well-aimed bullet; its diverse, unconventional melody makes it difficult to shake and its playful nature reflects the game itself. Of course, the above recording - taken from the classic NES version of the game - is a pure MIDI track, but that does little to get in the way of its greatness, even if there have been some excellent cover versions kicking around (specifically all those Heavy Metal ones!). Granted, if the game isn't going so well for you, the theme can end up being kinda annoying, but on the whole, we love it.
