3. Zelda
I can hear the complaints now. Link is nothing without his sword. It's what defines him. I'm not going to argue with that, nor am I going to contend that Nintendo should create a full-fledged Zelda game in the vein of a first person shooter. What I'm asking for is a spin-off along the lines of Link's Crossbrow Training. Link obviously wouldn't have modern artillery; instead, it would be more of a steampunk-esque take on the first person shooter. Zelda plus steampunk plus first person shooter? How can that equation not add up to something amazing? You might as well throw in some horses while you're at it, because shootouts on horseback are even better. They'd an extra level of difficulty, too, seeing as you'd have to keep your horse out of harm's way, as well, or else you'd have to hope that you can run faster than a horse because you could just as easily be trampled. And with Nintendo at the helm, there's no way this could fail. Wait, no, nevermind. I forgot the Power Glove. Correction: there's almost no way this could fail.
