10 Upcoming Games To Keep You Busy Until Watch Dogs
5. The Elder Scrolls Online (April 4)
There has been much controversy in recent months surrounding the upcoming Elder Scrolls Online, which aims to turn that hugely popular world into a money-spinning subscription-based MMO. The first trouble came from those lucky enough to play early builds, who complained about the poor quality of the gameplay, and this was followed up by the announcement of a relatively steep $14.99 per month subscription fee, and for Xbox One players, this will be on top of their Xbox Live subscription. With the recent beta, more impressions have snuck out, and the consensus seems to be that it's not bad, though unlikely to do the impossible and topple World of Warcraft: the presentation and character creator were widely praised, though the combat and menu systems have been criticised as clunky and confusing. Understandably, gamers will be less likely to take the gamble on a game that requires so much financial investment, so it's probably best to wait for the reviews first.
