10 Upcoming Games To Keep You Busy Until Watch Dogs
4. Daylight (April 8)
Sure to be one of the most innovative games of the year, Daylight is a survival horror game with a rather curious twist: the player doesn't have any weapons, and the only object at their disposal is their mobile phone. You play a woman who awakens in an abandoned hospital without knowing how she got there, and using her phone as a light source (and also as a compass), she must explore and find a way to escape. One other fascinating aspect of the game is that it procedurally generates environments, enemies and objects each time you play, so this will give the game a mass of replay value. The run and hide approach worked extremely well for the Amnesia franchise, and from the little footage we've seen so far, Daylight just might be one of the year's most brilliantly terrifying games. With a flagging genre that desperately needs more killer titles, this has all the potential.
