8. The New Square Enix IP

Coming from new studio Luminous Productions - itself named after Luminous Engine, the tech that's powered various Square Enix titles including Final Fantasy XV - we've got an all-new IP being made just for PS5.

FF XV's own lead programmer, Takeshi Aramaki, is heading up the studio, though we don't know anything else other than what's on the official Luminous Productions website.

Thankfully, the site does highlight some choice elements of Aramaki's work on FF XV, including "open-world systems" and "emotion-filled A.I.".

The blurb ends saying the team are making "steady progress" overall, so expect this to drop near the beginning of the PS5's lifecycle - if the rumours of a 2020 release for the console are true, of course.
