3. Slippy Toad - Lylat Wars
Considered by many to be the most irritating video game character of all time, Slippy is the mechanic and inventor of the Starfox team. This is an impressive feat considering he is a Toad, and therefore shouldn't even have opposable thumbs. For some reason, despite being a mechanic, Slippy joins the Starfox team (otherwise made up of ace fighter pilots) during their deep-space dogfights. Probably due to the fact that throwing spanners at the enemy fighters is not the most effective battle strategy, Slippy gets in trouble constantly, and needs saving. His persistent, pre-pubescent cries for help are enough to get on the most patient gamer's nerves. He also has a penchant for making stupid decisions and getting captured, which means, yet again, Fox has to go and save him. It doesn't help that Slippy is one of the most talkative characters in the game. Most Annoying quote: "Whoa! Help me!"
